night to Stanford which locked USC into the 6th seed in the MPSF volleyball standings. BYU was already locked in as the 3 seed.
BYU plays USC Wednesday 6:30 PM MT at USC in the first round.
I didn't realize that the bracket is fluid meaning that in the second round UCLA as the 1 seed gets to play the remaining worst seeded team. But Grand Canyon is unlikely to lose their first round matchup against 7th seed Concordia. So if BYU advances (which might be 50-50 chances), its almost certain that they would play Grand Canyon in round 2 on Thursday. If BYU wins the worst seeded team would be the winner of the 4-5 matchup (Stanford-Pepperdine) and on the other side of bracket would be BYU-GCU.
All MPSF tournament matches broadcast on flotv which requires the monthly subscription to signup. That is $30 for one month, so $30 for the chance of seeing BYU play one, two, or three more matches.
