Democrats are plenty happy to ruin college sports so they can grandstand about unions etc. and Republicans will never get a supermajority that would spend their effort on remaking college sports

Only a new organization with new bylaws from the start can have the power necessary to promote a balanced competitive league - and too many people are making too much money this way for such a concept to win buy-in

Short-sighted blowhards like Sally Jenkins and Jay Billas say the NCAA should have been spending time planning for this instead of fighting lawsuits. Well without the protections they are losing in these lawsuits, they have no power to make any plans that will be respected by anyone.
