I think BYU and football/basketball have a little bit of a handshake to keep NIL
on the DL.
Some think it's not a good look for the church's flagship school to be flaunting cars to athletes, etc.
EVen if they deserve compensation.
I thought the Utah truck announcement at JMHC was super cringey. And not just b/c it was the U doing it.
It just felt icky over the top.
