It's really poor form not to tweet about your decisions because then the fans are left wondering. Is he even fasting and/or praying about his decision? Has he enjoyed all his time and teammates here at BYU? Is he grateful to God at all? Really leaves lots of unanswered questions.

On the other hand, not tweeting means we don't have to respect his decision, so maybe it's a wash?
