He did the same thing when BYU hired him away from UVU. He talked about how much he loved UVU while he was there but then dropped them and stole several of their players. BYU knew what he was when they picked him up. He's obviously great at interviewing. That seems even more clear since he doesn't have the resume for the Kentucky job.
And as much as I enjoyed this past year I'm not that sad that he's gone. The only thing I don't like is that he didn't help BYU make a run in the tournament before he left, which I thought he would have had to have done before getting the job at Kentucky (again, it seems obvious to me he mostly got it because he's great at interviewing). I'd rather have a coach that wins in the post season even if they aren't so good in front of a camera or in an interview.
