Pope’s had 3 top 20 teams in five years and improved the program from
where it was when he took it over.
Sitake has had one year in the top 33 in seven years and the program has gotten worse than when he took over. His one “good” year was against the worst schedule BYU has played in our lifetimes.
But you want to argue that Pope isn’t better because he lost 2 games in the NCAA tournament.
Did you forget that 2017 football season. That was the worst football season for BYU in more than 50 years.
Comparing Pope to Sitake is either ridiculous or blinded anger.
