We have a new build that is almost finished. It really just needs landscaping and fireplace finish. It is a mud pit right now. We are putting a lot of $$ into the landscaping.
My lender is pushing the appraisal and I want them to hold off. This is a refinance from a construction loan. The appraisal is very important because we greatly desire that 20% buffer so we don’t need to bring extra money at closing.
My lender says she doesn’t think the landscaping will change the appraisal. I disagree. It is 10 acres in a rural area.
