our walk-in closet by blowing out the back wall and converting the attached laundry room into a larger walk-in closet. Then we took the bedroom on the other side of the laundry room and converted it into a large laundry room. Still have 2 bedrooms up and 3 down. That's plenty. When we get older we'll temporarily convert the other upstairs bedroom into a TV room. The square footage gives up a bunch of options.
