south side of the airport, while the metro is on the north side. The other option is taking a bus from Innovation Center metro stop, or Ubers from the Dulles Airport metro stop.

That said, the Udvar-Hazy is among the top air museums in the country, if not the top air museum (I still give the nod to the USAF museum in Dayton, but it's different). It's worth the effort.  They have stuff there that you won't see anywhere else in the world, including the Enola Gay.
