He spoke constantly about the mission of BYU, that it was a special place, and the opportunity to here was more than a job. He spoke of how grateful he was, and that he was going to lead the team to great heights.
Then came a great dissappearing act & the next thing you know, he's saying the exact same thing somewhere else. It just rings of being disingenuos and disrespectful to those you asked to trust and believe in.
I believe the real issue was that he wanted a lot more NIL & wasn't going to get it here. Thus the friction with the admin, which wasn't going to get any better.
