Personally I wouldn’t pull my kids out of their HS, Jr high, dance (his kids a
Jazz dancer or tied into the smiths studio ) etc when I had a great home and stable 7 figure income. To me that’s more important at this time of their life. I also wouldn’t want to expose them to a crazy fanbase like that.
With that said I don’t blame anyone who does and think it’s pretty cool he landed his dream job
