When I found out the Kentucky job opened up I was a little worried that we would lose our head coach, but came on here and realized that it was basically a long shot and impossible that Pope would be chosen for that prestigious position. Well……..the impossible happened and in an instant our basketball off season veered into another direction. CB was wrong, Pope is gone and more than likely many players will follow. Not just to him but other programs. I was shocked, mad, angry, disappointed etc. I am a fan. It’s all normal reactions. If I didn’t care then why am I a fan!

After a few days and letting the dust settle, I am over it. I wish Pope well (hope we slaughter Kentucky if we ever play them, how fun will that game be?)

It’s a new start for our program and in some ways it’s exciting. Not in the ways that I anticipated. I am going to look at this with optimism now. Hopefully, 3 years from now we can say this was a blessing for the program.

I will cheer on whoever we decide to lead our program. Let’s get it done quickly. Let’s rebuild it better than it was before. Let’s Go!!
