are emotionally fragile and have hurt feelings and have zero objectivity when they assess him and how it all went down. I imagine it will be easier to know down the road a few years.

I'm choosing to give him the benefit of the doubt. I liked him when he was here and had hoped he'd be around for longer to try to get some more momentum. I felt good about the direction of the program. His departure and the other departures it triggers are going to hurt.

I'm hoping we can land a good coach soon and start our next phase. But I'm a bit pessimistic right now. Hopeful that good news arrives soon.
