johnnybyu Intervention Needed

Maddog with experience would be my #1 now. Such a good dude but he is a straight shooter so his tweet was discouraging. 5 years ago I thought Alex was the best choice. Either BYU didn't think so or our mutual acquaintance was wrong and he didn't want BYU. Pope seemed like the easy hire and was my 3rd choice. He did pretty well for the first 2 years and last year. 2022 was awful when he lost the team. I think he is a good coach but a better salesman. Both Alex and Maddog would be awesome for BYU. Warming up to Burgess but holding out hope for Maddog or Alex.
