a situation that they don't like. It is very possible that all BYU players in the portal come back. It is also possible to lose some to good NIL deals. The new coach needs to recruit current BYU players and recruits back into the program.

BYU does need to get a good coach in place sooner rather than later.

Note: BYU has done well getting good coaches: Cleveland wasn't world renown and gave BYU several solid years. Rose was an assistant and did well. Pope came from UVU. I think BYU will be fine with any of the 5 coaches at the top of their search.
