Here's the difference between whit and Pope
Whit has strong feelings towards BYU. He played there. His dad coach there. He grew up in provo. He has that love/hate passion for the Y.
Pope has no feelings towards BYU at all. It was a place he used to get where he wanted. He will continue to use as needed but it's mostly irrelevant and don't register in his world.
