Machiavellian behavior in practice was not acceptable at BYU, then, yeah, I think they clashed. But if you listen to what players have always said about Mark, he turns into a different guy once you’re here than he was as a recruiter.
*BUT* this year was different. Mark connected with that locker room. I think if the truth ever came out, you’d find out that Santiago coached Pope into fixing things that led to the cohesiveness they had this year.
IMO, we are super lucky to have Brian. But if you all want to pile on and destroy his good name, he’ll just leave and go to the Jazz or somewhere else. He’s very connected.
