I wish people would let the "letting down statement go". Heck, I agree with Reid* (to a degree). Be an example to other church youth/members, build up the church's signature university via BB, and help put BYU on the big stage. His parents leaking the private phone call was lame – regardless of how you perceive the message. It didn't only hurt RR, but looked bad for BYU and the church (for some people).

Instead he fizzled at Duke and had a very unremarkable career at uu. I think that he chose uu because his pride would not allow him to go to BYU. I had completely forgotten about him until he became an assistant coach.
