motivating factor in players, coaches, signings, etc. How much $$ can you give me?

College sports has now become comparable to the corporate world. I get it that players and coaches can chase after whomever will give them the most $$, and that is often the case with most of us today, but this whole situation is again causing me to lose my interest in college sports like I did with the NFL, NBA, and MLB. It is now all about the $$ and I’ll still follow but in a very different way.

Signing one’s name to an agreement used to really mean something, but now the signed offer has little merit. I guess recent messages on integrity really carry a greater weight than before. Ah well, high school kids and their word go right along with coaches and their word. Back to the $$.

My collegiate sports interests are decreasing pretty quickly here. That’s good though because my passion was too out of balance and this caused a reassessment.
