Pope had 'permanently' damaged the program, no LDS recruit will ever go to BYU again other than dudes that could only be playing church ball, and we were permanently in a place of weakness, destined to be in the cellar of the Big 12 forever.

Now, a mere 60 minutes later, we are in a better position than we were in with Pope, if given the choice Kentucky would choose Young over Pope any day of the week, and Young will not only retain all of our players, but upgrade at key positions.
