I don’t know how good of a job Young will do — I’m just amazed to see BYU doing
un-BYU things to land him. BYU has obsessively tried to do more with less and too often to a fault.
Now that the precedent has been set, where does BYU go from here? Is this a one off, or is this the beginning of a higher level of institutional commitment to athletic excellence and the costs necessary to achieve it?
