“I don’t know a ton about him, but I know he’s really respected around the NBA and a lot of people are surprised he’s taking the job cause he’s one of those guys people thought would get a head coaching job in the NBA”

And another friend who played & coached D2 said this when I got his thoughts:

“Big NBA guy. Known for his development. Was up for a lot of HC jobs. Can always go back to the NBA but his wife was tired of the NBA grind. So I think he’s here to stay”

Sounds like we got a good one who knows ball. I just hope he can recruit his tail off, or get assistants who can recruit.
