Holmoe gets the credit. He had to come up with the offer and how to
fund through the athletic department and its donors it then present it to Reese. So yes Reese had the role every BYU president has and maybe gets some credit for getting the BOT for acting fast. Worthen is a huge sports nut - I think he would have done the same.
