From limited coaching pools to limited recruiting, this mindset makes BYU odd and not attractive as a place to compete at the highest levels with the blue blood programs in football and basketball.

Part of me admires BYU for setting a high standard but the other part recognizes the self imposed mentality that effectively handicaps the athletic program.
