Do not pay him $1M. That's absurd.
Jay Hill is paid $1M for a few reasons:
1. Football is a bigger sport and Hill is in charge of a larger number of players.
2. Jay Hill already was a head coach (at the FCS level, but still).
3. The head coach in football is not a well respected former NFL coordinator.
4. In line with 3, Jay Hill is looked to for more management and coaching of the team.
5. Jay Hill could probably take over today and do just as well as KS.
