Mark Pope is about as high energy as anybody I've ever seen. He is a fun guy who wants to work a room into a frenzy of excitement. Mark Pope is the kind of guy who wants to pack Rupp Arena so fans can watch him be introduced as a new head coach. If not a head basketball coach, his next preferred job might just be captain of the cheerleading team.

It would appear Kevin Young is not that, and if that's what's important to you in a head coach, you may get bored quickly. I hope he doesn't awkwardly try to become that when it's not in his nature. I for one don't place a ton of value in it, and look forward to winning some games in March.
