I love Aly, but he did us no favors down the stretch.
I'm not talking about Ramadan even though I do think that played a part. His play in the Duquesne game was absolutely atrocious. 0/6 shooting, 0/4 from 3, two turnovers, and just a really, really bad game. If we'd played a Fous / AAA combo in that game, I think we win easily.
So if Pope really wants to steal him away, I say go for it. I assume the leash will be much tighter and he will be playing 15 minutes a game.
