used to inspect the First Presidency/Q12/GA mail coming into the Church HQ every day (post 911 and up through the 1st year of Monson's tenure as President) and I absolutely loved that President Bateman had a Christmas card made up of him up on Squaw Peek wearing a full BYU FB uniform. Probably, as a GA, he believed he needed to be a little more dignified in public settings. This card wasn't going out to everyone, but it was fun and indicated how much he loved BYU sports.

It was awesome to see Pres. Reese expressing his excitement.
