I am much more sanguine bout him staying at BYU long term. It would be really nice to get another guy who could stay here long term and build something great. We had that for a while with Dave Rose, but Pope was never a long term thing. Its perfectly clear now taht Pope was alwasy goingt to take that next step, if that step got him closer to his dreatham job. And when you put that stupid vidoe where he stripped into his old Kentucky uniform, along with him leaving skid marks on his way out of town, he was never really committed to BYU.

Of course there is no way to know for sure about Young's future ambitions, but if he can pick up where Pope left off with the team trending positively, I sure hope we have im here for a long time.
