older have School Chrome books they do school work on. Those are usually kept and used in the front room. We also have a few other laptops and Chromebooks that are used as needed. We have a couple of other desktops that are sitting in a closet in case we do need them.
We discourage computers in bedrooms or other closed off locations.

The family computer and extra laptops/Chromebooks are rarely used.
We use the family desktop to pay bills, do taxes, order pizza... One laptop is a bit more powerful, so that is used for editing videos and stuff. Mostly they sit around getting more and more outdated.

We are a video gaming family, but discourage PC gaming because of how isolating it is. Console gaming is much more inclusive.
