makes up a lot of time and effort during the offseason, etc. but yes, it's a lot fewer games and a significantly shorter season (4 month regular season; 1 month postseason vs. 6 month season and 2 month postseason). And even during the season it would seem as though the way the college basketball schedule works (2 games per week, etc.) would result in more time at home and less time on the road.
