In fact if the NBA is the ultimate goal, transferring would be really risky (and maybe even stupid). He might find himself in a situation where he is cashing NIL checks, but not playing the same minutes. The kid is allowed to chase some of that NIL cash, so whatever. But that’s exactly what this is, it isn’t about the NBA.
