So, with that in mind, let me share my true feelings that Coach Pope is awesome. He’s amazing in every way. He should have been UK’s #1 coaching option but indifferent now because he’s more than qualified for the position and likely, given his talent as a coach, his floor for NC’s at UK is probably 3 with a F4 floor of 5–within his first 10 years at UK. There is no way, given his coaching ability, he won’t achieve greatness and be one of the all-time great NCAA coaches when his coaching career is done and he’s riding off into the sunset. What a great guy.
