I highly doubt that there have been discussions since KY was hired so the 4.3
number would be before basketball hire was a factor and even then they would compare him to other FB coaches at similar schools because they would be matching market rates when renewing/extending his contract. With BIG12 money he may be able to negotiate a raise solely based on peer pay scales. If he wants more, then he needs to be better than average.
