acts like MP on his way out. We get it. UK is a blue blood and a big deal, and MP has every right to move forward promptly and be excited about the opportunity, particularly given that it's his alma mater, etc. But BYU isn't UVU or just another rung up the ladder.
And when MP can seemingly get any players he wants at UK without HC and NIL restrictions, poaching BYU's guys and commits, while intimately knowing BYU's limitations and challenges there, is salt in the wound.
So sincere or not, given MP's faith connection to the school, the extraordinary support that he had at BYU from the fanbase, etc., it's extremely shortsighted, and frankly, speaks to MP's character and sincerity throughout his time at BYU for him to act the way that he has on his way out. And people like Mark Durrant and Spencer Linton are close enough to the situation to know.
