But all the guards, except for Hall at times, struggled to break down the defense by getting to the key. The NBA is jacking up threes, but they are wide open threes. And they are almost all generated from guard penetration. The guards are super quick and can get by their guy on their own or by a little passing/movement on the perimeter. The guard gets to the paint and either lobs or throws to the corner three. If the corner three isn't wide open, the angle three is after a quick swing pass. All based on guards getting to the lane. I was so sad to see Baker get hurt because he seemed to be the only guy who could get there and hit a midrange shot or break down the defense.
