have the impression our guys are not top tier like they're accustomed to landing year in and year out. Chandler may be borderline acceptable, but they'd probably consider Khalifa an unathletic gimmicky player that would be dominated on defense (that definitely happened in the Big12). We overlooked that liability because he was a likable guy and entertaining on the offensive end, but when his health was off, he was getting skunked on offense and exposed on defense.

Does anyone have much interaction with knowledgeable UK fans? I'd think they're fine with bringing over some of Pope's BYU assistants, but bringing subpar players, just because they're easy and familiar, would smack of laziness...he could/should stick to blue chippers.
