Does "play in the NBA" mean that they suited up and played in a regular season NBA game? Or caught on at some level with a team and played in the G-league or something like that?
Multiple other guys had NBA experiences, such as Jake Toolson, Yoeli Childs, etc. So, I guess it revolves just a bit around how you define it - though, making a roster and sticking with it during a season, that's a higher level of course.
I think Matt Haarms might have had a chance, perhaps, but he only had one season here to develop. Other than Toolson and Childs, Barcello is one but he put himself in a good position to be considered with his excellent shooting. Other guys like Gavin Baxter had the physical tools perhaps to get a shot at the NBA if they had the right development.
