Holmoe did it again after the Bronco/Doman mis-management of the offense at the end of the 2012 season. After the upsetting loss to Boise St that year an angry Holmoe (iirc) announced there would be changes at the end of the season. Local media then asked Doman and Bronco what that meant and they had no idea. Holmoe waited until after the season was over, Doman was let go and Anae was brought back with the condition that he would be allowed to hire his own assistants. It was Holmoe who offered Detmer the OC job in 2016.
