You assume he won’t be in the homes of recruits if the Suns have a deep run.
I disagree with that assumption.
And I think being in their homes in the midst of a run in the NBA playoffs would be incredibly powerful. Even those phone conversations after Young wraps up a film session with Booker and Co. would be a great recruiting optic. And then they turn on the TV to watch the Suns play and say, “Hey, that guy wants me on his team.”
The idea that Young will basically ignore recruiting until the Suns lose is misguided.
