OP's only comment - before anything was announced - was that Kevin Young "makes zero sense".

I responded to a comment from Dwide_Schrude - made after many outlets were reporting that it WAS Kevin Young.

Dwide's response to the comment that Kevin Young "makes zero sense" implied that Kevin Young was taking BYU fans for a ride. Even saying he would be pretty pissed if that's what Kevin Young was doing.

So I expressed my belief that he misunderstood. That it wasn't that Kimdaddy35 thought Young was taking BYU for a ride. But that he didn't think BYU would put the money out, and that he didn't think Young would accept even if they did. To him, it felt like fans were being taken for a ride on a rumor being spread that didn't make sense and would never come to pass.

Now - here's where it gets fun. Kimdaddy35 gave my post a thumbs up - implying that my description of why he thought it wouldn't happen was true. And Dwide also gave that post a thumbs up - implying that I was correct in my belief that he had misunderstood.

So now tell me how I am mistaken. Your statement of "I don't think he misunderstood anything..." can only mean that you think I am wrong either about what kimdaddy35 was intending to communicate or in Dwide misunderstanding what was intended. I'm pretty sure I'm correct, but I'll keep an open mind and let you present your point of view.
