And frankly, I don't care that Pope left. I had my own questions about him for some time. So, I think it's great. However, have you even known anyone that you loved and supported who just up and left without two words?
Maybe that's how people feel. It isn't the leaving, for me, but rather the surprise that someone that loved and supported would just disappear without 2 words of thanks. As someone who did like Pope, it does drop him down a knotch in my eyes.
As for the rest of it, I wish him the best of luck in Kentucky. Maybe he can not win a conference championship or NCAA tourney game there, too. lol
There's good, better, and best. And the way Pope left wasn't the best. That's all.
