Toward the end of the year, his effectiveness dropped off as teams figured out what he was going to do and what his limitations were. There is no guarantee he will have a good surgery and recovery.
Hall and Saunders both have multiple years of eligibility left. I'd rather have either of them than Khalifa if it came down to that being the choice. Both are tough as nails and high effort guys.
Khalifa leaving causes us to need another big man. Hopefully we can fill that hole through an incoming transfer.
