POLL: Does an animal qualify as a “pet” if it is not an animal you actually pet?
Examples: fish, lizards, snakes, etc.
For me at least, animals that are not frequently petted are not fun pets to have. Fish, for example, are a lot of work but are not soft and cuddly friends. The ROI is very low.
