thought I was throwing away the food reciept, but right after I did it I realized it was the main Costco stuff receipt.

I was on a time crunch and needed to get somewhere right away. The guy at door glanced at it and immediately realized it was the food receipt (they had just changed it to where both receipts were blue instead of white or yellow.)

Anyway, I explained must have thrown the other one away, and he was like “that’s not a problem, you’ll just need to go to customer service and get a printout of your receipt”

And I was like “yeah, I’m sorry, I’m in a rush and I need to get going. I don’t have time for that” and I started to leave and he totally starts freaking out, and he’s all “I’m sorry, I can’t let you leave until I see your receipt!”

And I was like, “dude, I spend like $15000 here every year, go check your cameras and if you still think I’m stealing this carton of milk and pack of strawberries and bag of rolls, feel free to call the cops on me and revoke my membership” and he just stepped back and I walked out.

My membership is still good.
