IT guys: I use(d) Google Home to monitor the wifi / devices at a rental home...
A guest showed up yesterday and when they had a little trouble logging on, instead of unplugging the router and plugging it back in as we instructed, did a factory reset on the router (a Google Nest). So the SSID (network name) was reset to the factory default, as was the network password. The guest is happy, but now none of the devices that were visible / controllable remotely by me, like the solar array, Arlo doorbell cam, smart thermostats, a wifi enabled garage door opener to give guests access in an emergency, are logged into the network anymore or visible on the Google Home app.

Seems the only way to remedy this is to go there and re-connect everything manually. But of course that's incredibly inconvenient. The whole reason it's set up to be monitored remotely is that it's ... remote (not easy to physically get to at the drop of a hat).

I believe my only remedy is to be on site and re-name the network and/or manually reconnect devices. It seems even if I had someone else show up to do this for me, I'd either have to give them access to my Google Home account (it'd have to be someone I really trusted) or they'd have to use their own Google Home account to set everything back up again and I'd not have access. Other ideas?
