With all the noise about salary gap between NBA & WNBA, especially with Caitlin
Clark entering the WNBA, there’s one place that you’ll never see the heat put to be more “fair”.

That’s the TV networks who pay to have rights to the games.

That’s where the real $$ to pay Mahomes & Jason Tatum $50 million per year. It’s because the leagues have multi-billion $ contracts from the ESPN, FOX, CBS of the word. These contracts fill the coffers of the professional sports teams (yes ticket sales and merch add some too).

So logically, following “the $$”, isnt it ESPN & CBS & FOX & now Amazon Prime & other networks the ones responsible for the “gender pay gap”?

Why won’t Amazon Prime “do the right thing” and go pay $500 million for WNBA rights so Caitlin Clark can sign a $20 million/yr deal?
