In my mind, there seems to be a fairly obvious solution to all the transferring
around in college sports these days. Could schools, or maybe even the NIL collectives start having these kids sign contracts that require them to stay put for more than one season?
I know it's just one more step towards all out professionalism, but that's where we're headed anyway.
Personally, I think longer contracts could offer some stability, but we also need to consider how it might affect the athletes' freedom and opportunities. What's your take on it?
