Find out what activities/rides are priorities for your kids to make sure they get to do what they want to do.

I'd spend two days and Disneyland and one day at California Adventure and avoid the parkhopper option. Add a beach day in between days two and three if you can.

We like to bring in snacks (fruit snacks, crackers, trail mix, whatever munchies your family likes) to try and keep costs down. And then get two quick service meals and a treat each day.
