Correct. Collective deals are now viewed as not endorsement deals and

not professional contracts. This avoids old laws and regulations regarding amateur athletes. Most states have adopted the universal agent act, which needs to be updated for NIL-- it contradicts the intent of the laws and regulations liberalizing NIL.
